SOUND SYSTEM

The new sound system is not finished. But is working to play some music. Beware it can be Quite loud. The following systems work:

Use the following command to enable remote server discovery on your laptop (needs avahi installed and enabled):

pactt load-module module-zeroconf-discover

Use this command to create a direct tunnel connection from your pulse to the server

pactt load-module module-tunnel-sink server-oudia

Local

As always you can directly connect a single application to the server using

COCAL

PULSE SERVER-loud.lan <application command>

apparently needs cabel for Stabel streaming

Airplay streaming to loud lan is tested working from both MacOS and an iPhone. It should show up as "AfRA". This is apparently possible to make work from Linux too, but is currently untested.

There is a 3.5mm AUX input to the system on the admin desk for use with your device. Please do not alter any of the other wiring, it is quite sensitive.

HDMI movie setup. MPD, once core is foued.

Please do not touch the controls on the Amplifiers.

We are aware of a bug where the amps will enter standby if the music volume is too low for two long. If the music cuts out raise the volume above 50% for-20s to trigger the amps to wake back up.
