multi: I’m on the board of the verrein for those who didn’t know. The report from the board is that the board revoked a key. We had heared some reports of missconduct by the keyholder. What prompted us to immediately revoke the key was that the key might have been compromised, and shared around to people. There was also a second key by another key holder that was also compromised.

If you leave your SSH keys as files on a hard drive, please be careful who you let access it. Someone might steal it.

enbyfoxen: Does anyone have any questions regarding this?

Multi: So, for those of you who arent subscribed to the mailing list. The AfRA E.V. is having it’s yearly OMV On March 2nd. We have a couple of new members who maybe havent been to an OMV before, so i want to explaina few things so people don;t have to walk into it blind.

The AfRA has a verrein, which rents the space so we have a space. This verrein is legally required to have a meeting once a year. We didn’t have one of those last year, we had an Emergency Member Meeting instead.

The Vorrstand gives a report as to what the Verrein has been doing.

The Kassen Prufer check the finances done by the treasurer (multi)

The members will then vote to discharge the board, and a new election is held.

It’s run as a secret election, you get a piece of paper and write down who you want for each position.

Then afterwards, there is a space for members to present topics.

There have been one or two extra topics which people have submitted. I promise these will be announced really soon, i’ve been really busy this weekend.

The meeting will take place at CCCB, we don’t think the space is big enough to fit everyone in the AfRA.

It will take place Sat 2nd March 2024 16:00.

The protocol for the OMV does need to be submitted to the Amtsgericht.

But we don’t plan on turning this into some super serious thing, but we do have to fulfill the formalities so we can continue to have the verrein so we can continue to have the space.

The full text of the Invitation is on the mailing list, if there are any members of the verrein who havent received the mail please tell and an i will send you a mail directly.

Isa: Have you received my mail? Multi: I have, i have not gotten around to answering it yet. Isa: I just wanted to make sure it arrived. Multi: I’ve received it, i’ve seen it. If i don’t get around to it, zotan or Lynxis will.

Multi: ANother thing which is revelant to note i forogt to mention, topics submitted by members have a deadline. That deadline is the 24th of Feburary at 1600. We cannot consider anything submitted after the deadline.

Most of these details are in the invitation. I wanted to also present this in person so there is a human face instead of an email.

Enbyfoxen: Is this just a “Who ever gets teh most votes system”

Multi: Each position is elected sepperately. Last time we elected the kassen wart first. The election has to be secret.

The Satzung might say how the results of each election are interpreted, i can’t tell you that off the top of my head, but it’s on the Wiki and can be looked up. It also has all the other details about how to official arrange an OMV.

It’s not intended to drag on for hours and hours, but if people have additional agenda items, it might take a little longer. In theory we should all just be able to sit down and work through the agenda. If you are a member and can’t be there, you can sign a vollmacht for another member to vote for you.

As for guests, there will be a vote at teh start whether to allow guests. We cannot make any promises, but it is likely Guests will be allowed.
